Heather Richards works as the agent for the illustrators Rosalind Beardshaw, Lizzie Finlay, Cecilia Johansson, Priscilla Lamont, Ian Newsham and Melanie Williamson. These illustrators have become more than
clients - they are friends. The group is purposely
small, hence they are able to easily keep in
touch with each other and are mutually
supportive. Every other year we go to the
Bologna Book Fair and in 2008
Heather will be attending the fair
with Lizzie, Cecilia and Melanie.

Heather has worked as a book
designer and art buyer for Pearson
Education and Cambridge University
Press in the Education Division.
As a result of this experience she
set up her own agency in 1996
continuing to art buy for publishers as
well as represent her illustrators.
