Ian Newsham was born in Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria, England, a town by the sea and the Lake District Mountains and cannot remember a time that he did not draw.
As a teenager he spent a lot of time drawing and climbing mountains. Upon leaving school Ian went to Manchester Metropolitan University and then on to The Royal College of Art in London. At the RCA he studied Illustration.
Ian is married to Wendy whom he met at college in Manchester. They have three children, live in a very old house in the country and have
a Welsh Springer Spaniel.
